Al Hilal SC claimed a convincing 4–2 victory over AS Kigali in a Rwanda Premier League Matchday 13 fixture played at Kigali Pelé Stadium, boosting their position in the league standings.
The win saw Al Hilal move to 12th place with 17 points, an important step as the team looks to climb away from the lower half of the table.
Al Merrikh held by AS Muhanga
In another Matchday 13 encounter, AS Muhanga frustrated Al Merrikh SC after the two sides played out a goalless draw.
The result prevented Al Merrikh from reclaiming second place in the Rwanda Premier League. The Sudanese side now sits third with 25 points from 11 matches, one point behind APR FC, who are second, while league leaders Police FC have 29 points.
